Private Events: Gate Your Poll with a PIN

Want only your people in the poll? Here is how PIN-gated events keep your scheduling link private without making guests create accounts.

Why you might gate a poll

Scheduling links get shared around, and sometimes you want the poll to stay inside the group — a surprise party, a private team decision, or an event with sensitive details.

How PIN gating works

Set a PIN on your event and share it separately from the link. Anyone opening the link without the PIN sees a locked screen instead of the poll.

Guests still do not need an account — the PIN is the only gate. You control who gets in by controlling who gets the PIN.

Keeping it guest-friendly

A PIN is lightweight by design: no login, no permissions, no app install. Share the link and PIN together in a private channel and you are set.
